Terms of Service for Cora (Thrive360AI) App Purchases and Access

1. Introduction

Welcome to Cora, operated by Thrive360AI ("Company," "we," "our," or "us"). By purchasing, subscribing to, or using our app, you agree to these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). Please read them carefully.

Terms: These Terms and any policies incorporated in these Terms contain the entire agreement between you and Thrive360AI regarding access to or use of the Services and, other than any Service specific terms of use or any applicable Enterprise agreements, supersedes any prior or contemporaneous agreements, communications, or understandings between you and Thrive360AI on that subject.

No agency, partnership, joint venture or other relationship is intended or created by your access to or use of the Services.

Cora is intended for supportive conversations and general mental health information only. It is not a replacement for professional therapy or medical care. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact a qualified healthcare professional or emergency services immediately.

By using Cora, you acknowledge that it is not a substitute for professional care and agree to seek appropriate help in emergencies.

Whenever users interact with our AI chatbot or features powered by artificial intelligence, they will be clearly notified that the system is operated by AI and not a human therapist.

The risks and limitations of the AI component—including inability to diagnose, treat, or respond to emergencies—are clearly disclosed to the user in onboarding materials and within the app. Informed use is strongly encouraged.

All data handled by the app is stored in secure cloud servers, and all data protection practices comply with HIPAA, applicable federal and state laws, as well as industry standards.

Our AI system is equipped with safeguards and filters to prevent harmful content generation. These are an integral part of our design and ongoing monitoring process.

Cora is continually tested for robustness and fairness across user groups and technical environments, in accordance with our risk assessment and mitigation policy.

Details regarding Cora AI's performance, training, evaluation, responsible organization, versioning, and limitations are documented in our Model Card, available upon request.

2. Eligibility

  • The Cora app is available to users aged 13 and above. By using the app, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old.
  • If you are under 18, you must have parental or legal guardian consent to use the app and make purchases.

3. User Responsibilities

  • Users must ensure that account information is accurate and up to date.
  • Unauthorized use of another person's account is prohibited.

Thrive360AI is not responsible for any emotional, psychological, or physical harm resulting from the use of Cora. Users are solely responsible for monitoring and responding to their own needs, including seeking professional help in emergencies.

You agree not to use the app for emergency communication. No personal data collected by AI features will be used for re-training or development of AI models.

4. Parental Control and Child Safety

  • Parents or legal guardians are responsible for monitoring their child's use of the Cora app.
  • We do not knowingly collect personal data from users under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided personal information, we will take steps to remove it.

5. Changes to Terms

  • We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the app after changes indicates acceptance of the new Terms.

If substantial changes affecting user rights, legal compliance, or AI disclosures occur, users will be notified in the app or via email prior to implementation.

6. Compliance Statement

All Cora services are delivered in compliance with HIPAA, federal and state laws for AI in healthcare, and industry standards for data privacy and security.
